The chunky hat and scarf set for a doll as first mentioned in my blustery evening blog has now been sewn up and the pattern is in the process of being checked and written up.  I did hope to snaffle the scarf for myself but mum is keeping an eye on it. I have however managed to sneak a picture of it (nowhere near as good a photos mum takes, but I am a dog and cameras have not been developed for paws yet).  

I think they have missed a trick here, perhaps they should have designed a balaclava given the patterning of the yarn.  Come to think of it, I wouldn’t mind a balaclava for winter myself to keep my ears warm, but mum says no as my head is the wrong shape. She has agreed to do me another scarf if my striped one doesn’t turn up before the beginning of October and for the moment I will make do with that.  I have paid the collie half a bikkie and first dibs on my sandpit tomorrow to locate it and ensure it doesn’t turn up until the new one has been knitted.
