i think it is fair to say that the weather is somewhat inclement this evening.  The only sensible thing to do is curl up under a blankie and snooze.  If it looks like anyone is going to encourage you to go out, pretend to be fast asleep.  

I have been keeping an eye on human activity and conversation.  Aunty Biscuit has been sewing something up until i was ready to dictate todays blog to her and mum has been doing some web editing.  One of the conversations has been about a test hat in chunky wool for a doll.  There is a review of the shaping and debate about what to top it off with that will keep proportions and be a suitable colour. My money is on a pompom in a thinner yarn as mum is involved.  There is also a scarf to go with it.  This is the same design as a green and white one that they knitted me last winter but sadly it has been mislaid so I'm hoping a replacement will be forthcoming at some point.
