This hat was designed for my brother and is based loosely on the old style brownie hats, which were close fitting ribbed hats which could be easily pulled onto the head and any extra length folded back away from the eyes, which he liked when we were kids.

The hat is easy to make and is ideal for beginners or more experienced knitters alike.  Total preparation time is probably about 4 - 8 hours depending on experience.
