One of the latest trends it would appear is arm knitting.  This confused Harrier as he couldn’t see why anyone would want to knit an arm until it was explained that you use arms instead of knitting needles.  Anyway, when Aunty Biscuit went into a shop the other day there was a lady stacking arm knitting yarn onto a shelf.  Aunty studied this for a moment before asking the burning question “what happens if you are in the middle of knitting and want to pop to the loo?”  The lady replied “ I wondered that too.”  Clearly life is full of little mysteries

  Mums thoughts on this matter was that the ends might be difficult to sew in.  I have a couple of thoughts of my own.  If everyones arms are different thicknesses how do you set a tension?  What on earth do you knit with it?
