I have found out what was in the box discussed in yesterdays blog.  It’s a bed/seat thing that dangles from a frame.  When assembled it will enable mum to lounge about on the patio and have room for both me and Harrier. Alternatively it will allow me and Harrier to lounge and grudgingly make room for mum.  Apparently the cushions are ecru in colour so it is suspected that mum will be doing some sort of sewing to make something she considers a bit more dog practical.  For those dogs who aren’t sure what colour ecru is mum has a picture of knitted dishcloths in it but I can tell you It is one of those delicious colours that shows every pawmark, dog hair and muddy mark to their best advantage. First one to fall in the pond and then sit on it is likely to be told off though!
