Whilst at a horse trials recently it struck me as to how artistic and creative course designers and builders can be.  Of the sponsored feature fences four in particular stood out.

A double element which represented the sun and the moon where the horses were required to jump through the centre of the sun and the crescent of the moon.

A fence sponsored by an ice cream company consisted of a number of ice cream cones with different coloured toppings.

My favourite was sponsored by a carrot company and consisted of very large trays of real carrots with some beautifully painted wooden rabbits.

For the water element they had carved a newt and then a double consisting of swans.
