The current jumper has now been completed and Aunty Biscuit is happy with it.  I then discovered a piece of rectangular graph paper marked upside down paw.  This it seems to be for a pair of tv socks to go with the jumper.  The as they are knitted from the ankle down to the foot the patterns are the other way round, although why she doesn’t just turn the original bit upside down is a mystery to me.  Meanwhile I am sorry to report that in the very high winds last week the polytunnel cover blew off.  Fortunately the beds had just been manured up and levelled ready for planting and only 4 tomato plants had been set away in the house so nothing has been lost.  The tomatoes are an experimental striped salad variety so we will see how they go on.
