There is now an amorphous pile of knitted bits that need sewing up.  The hold up is that the large pins that hold parts together have been temporarily mislaid.  This seems a tad ironic as from what I understand the whole point of these pins is that they are visible.  Normal dressmaking pins are apparently unsuitable as they can become easily lost amongst the yarn and potentially cause anything from an ouch to injury.
