Mum found a somewhat substantial corpse of a spider today.  The mortal remains were picked up in a bit of tissue and unceremoniously flushed down the loo.  It could have had the decency to die when Aunty Biscuit was about - she's terrified of them!  You can usually rely on her to produce a decent scream when one crosses her path.  That said she copes  with knitted spiders and pompom spiders just fine but I suppose that is a bit different.  Apparently pompom spiders are quite easy to make.
