Aunty Biscuit was dog sitting yesterday evening.  We watched a really good programme about Anglo Saxon artefacts.  I have given this a great deal of thought and now wonder considering all the wonderful rich colours they had in their jewellery and books like the Lindisfarne gospels, why on earth do they call it the dark ages?  I also think someone should knit me an Anglo Saxon inspired blanket but I'm not holding my breath.
