Mum has been doing a fringe for the edging of a character scarf that had been requested.  To do this she used a DVD case to wrap it round and round.  It can be quite intriguing when everyday items are used for craft purposes.  Aunty Biscuit collects empty yoghurt pots and puts small amounts of acrylic paint or glue in them, they can then just be thrown out afterwards, tin foil can be used in a similar fashion.  Cocktail sticks or skewers can be used to apply glue to very small items.
