The intermittent jumper. Crafty Pets lesley Taylor Jul 31 2015 Aunty Biscuit has been in the process of knitting an intermittent jumper. I initially thought that this was a particular technique like for example intarsia, especially as it seems to involve the use of three knitting needles. I have finally got round to looking it up on woofapedia – its not. It is a system where you do a bit, then put it to one side for a while, then do a bit more. The three needles comes into it because it is a striped jumper so you do the back and front at the same time. You then collect more part balls of yarn before continuing, all very baffling for a little dog. It has reappeared so is clearly at the" come out and do a bit more" stage and very colourful it is too. mmmm
