Suncream

Jul 04 2015

Just how many humans does it take to put suncream on an unco-operative horse’s nose?  Apparently the grey or white bits of equines with pink skin underneath can become sunburnt so need protection.  I overheard a conversation, which would suggest that the minimum number for a smallish horse is three.  One to attempt to hold the horse (Mum), one to attempt to apply the cream to the horses nose and rub it in (Aunty A) and one to spectate and laugh at their feeble efforts (Aunty Biscuit).   Personally I think they should have put a straw hat on it as well but it would probably have been eaten before we got photographic evidence.
