An Al fresco dining experience.

Jun 23 2015

On a mild evening such as this we canine members of the family enjoy taking our evening meal on the patio.  The patio is fringed with fragrant blooming roses, clematis and camellia down one side and pots of plants down the other.  This evening was particularly sublime as Harrier has been slightly off colour the past couple of days (suspected slight chill but picking up well) hence there was a necessity to include chicken into the main course “to build him up a bit”.  This was mixed with our usual wheat free biscuits and a little dog food served in finest stainless steel bowls.  I would be lying if I told you that we had a long leisurely meal – we troughed it ASAP in case anyone else wanted it.  Dessert consisted of a small fresh breath dental stick.  This is a necessity for Harrier as he tends to suffer from what I believe is termed “dogbreath”, which is hardly surprising as he is one.  We have now settled down to supervise crafting whilst digesting this veritable feast.
