We thought saw a ghost! We were walking up the field when this large veiled grey apparition appeared before us with a slight glow and strange primitive celtic/pictish darker markings down the back.  It drifted towards us getting closer.  It was only when it stuck its head in a bucket the other side of the fence and started eating I realised it was pony wearing a fancy dress outfit.  

Phew! It further turns out that its not a fancy dress outfit but a fly rug which covers him up to stop him being bitten.  The glow is from the slightly metallic look of the main part and the pattern bit is a waterproof back piece.  Mum loves the fact that he is normally grey and is easy to accessorise.
