I'm not sure whether it’s been my lie in protest or my threats to call in trained negotiators but I’ve been promised my blankie by the end of the week subject to no further hexagons being required.  I’m very excited by the prospect.  Harriers blanket has been finished and is possibly going to feature as a project of the month!  You heard it here first.  Naturally I have been asked to model for the photos, my fee being a nominal two dog treats and a tummy rub. ( I have also currently possession of the new blanket, I may lease it back to Harrier when mine arrives).  The horse trials continues to be main topic of conversation, including a senior moment by Aunty Biscuit which I relate as follows.

Man comes up to Aunty Biscuit and says "as you like terriers you may like some of these training treats to try on them" and hands her a sample.  "Thank you" says Aunty, initially slightly mystified as to how he knows she likes terriers.  A couple of years ago we got her a tee shirt as a christmas present.  It bears the slogan " I love terriers"  you have three guesses as to what she wore to the event.
