The Collie stole my tennis ball.  She says it was an accidental case of mistaken identity but I’m not convinced.  We each have tennis balls according to size.  The Collie's is full sized, comes in a nitrogen sealed tube purchased from a local discount sports store.  Research performed by mum over the years has shown this to be the most cost effective option.  Mine and Harriers are both proper dog ones complete with squeak, his are slightly larger than mine as he has a bigger mouth. 

Anyway my theory is that The Collie took mine because of the squeak as they are clearly completely different.  Harrier did point out, that in the past, I have mistaken a pompom on one of Aunty Biscuits slippers for my ball.  

In my defence that is a mistake anyone could make, but as a precaution I have bought his silence with a halfeaten chew stick.  I'm wondering if I could hire The Collie out to wimbledon as a ball girl but fear that she may pinch the ball at an unfortunate point of the mens final.
