Yesterday the weather was somewhat inclement which meant we elected to take our morning walk around the village on a route which we hadn’t been on for a couple of days.  We caught up on a few new scents, saw a couple of doggie acquaintances and generally paddled about.  This morning the weather was a lot better, so we went to our more normal venue – the paddock. Here we noticed that there were loads and loads of dandelion clocks everywhere.  I’m sure these are what encourages mum to think pompoms.  I’m sure she would put a pompom on everything if she got chance.   The lilac tree is blooming, I was wondering whether the colour of the blossom may be one to consider as part of my forthcoming blankie, before being distracted by finding something interesting to roll in.  I was then told off and rubbed over with a pet wipe.  I sometimes feel that some humans miss out on a lot of the simple pleasures in life....
