A Tail of Blankie. Part 1

May 15 2015

Concerned by reports in the press that we are heading for a very cold winter I have put an order in with Aunty biscuit for a new blankie.  Left to me the specification would be for one made of softest alpaca and the size of a football pitch.  I suspect that the end result will fall short of this but one can but hope.

Protracted delicate negotiations have resulted in me having to settle for a good sized blankie made from acrylic double knitting wool consisting of crocheted hexagons.  It’s a good job I’m so reasonable and not a spoilt little dog . I have included a picture of last years meagre attempt.  I do however have a cunning plan…… !

Whilst waiting for my plan to come to fruition I am occupying myself by selecting colours and the production of the initial hexagons, my initial idea of delicate pinks and white has been vetoed due to concerns over residue muddy paws and rolling in unspeakable things.  I will keep you informed of progress
