Whilst wandering about on our walk we went past one of the village houses where the front is covered in wisteria.  It’s a beautiful lilac shade and the form of the flowers as they cascade down is like a floral chandelier.  We all mused on this until two thirds of the canine element, myself included, became a teensy bit distracted by a cat.  I think either aunty biscuit or mum should be inspired enough by it to do me a blanket edging but suspect it is more likely to end up as something human, the wisteria that is, not the cat.  Can you imagine someone peering out from under a wisteria hat edging?  Or trailing it through some soup on the edge of a jumper?  Perhaps it would make a nice welly topper?  Being trapped in a car door as a scarf? Mums wisteria is only just starting to flower so she should have plenty of time to come up with some sketches and colour selecting should she choose to go down that route.
