Introducing Harrier Crafty Pets lesley Taylor May 04 2015 I realised I have had my blog posted for me yesterday which included reference to Harrier my brother without having introduced him properly. This was most remiss of me, although I shall choose to blame the admin department as I can’t use a computer, my paws are the wrong shape to hit a single key. We are litter mates so I have known him all my life. He is known as Harrier because of his amazing ability to take off vertically and mum thought sea king was too much of a mouthful to shout across the park at him.. He is very agile and can turn on a sixpence both on the ground and in mid air. He is however useless at landing and falls off things a lot, ending up embarrassed but otherwise unscathed. Last week he fell off the sofa into a cup of tea (fortunately tepid). A while ago he slid off the chair into mums knitting bag, this was a soft landing as she is in the process of knitting herself an aran sweater. I found it hilarious as there was this pair of back legs and a tail flailing about, everyone else was concerned until they fished him out and were reassured that he was fine. He is currently studying fabrics but he has a tendency to nibble holes in blankets and shred mats so is unlikely ever to be a leading name in this discipline. Consequently he has different opinions to me on crafting which I may consider occasionally and even rarely and under protest permit him to post them on my pet blog. mmmm
