Aunty biscuit has some new bamboo socks.  I thought that pandas ate bamboo shoes but as there are no reports of nibbled socks or panda infestations between her toes, I can only assume that I misheard and it is bamboo shoots that they eat.  

 I am relieved as clearly the barbeque skewers are also safe and I can look forward to only chicken from the summer barbeques..
