24sts or 30 rows to 10cm, using stocking stitch on 4 mm needles
Using 4mm needles and the green yarn cast on 27 stitches.
Rib: [K1, P1] to last stitch, K1
Repeat this row until 5.5cm (2.25inches).
Change to beige yarn and starting with a knit row continue in stocking stitch until work measures 10cm (4 inches), ending with a purl row.
To make up:
With right sides together, join the seams of the two sides together leaving gaps for the spout and handle. (Measure against the teapot). Be particularly careful when joining the tops as the acorns have a little peak at the end. Sew in any loose ends. Turn the right way out, place on the teapot and keep away from squirrels.
