Repeat these 12 rows until work measures 224 cm (88 Inches).  Cast off on an even numbered row.

To make Up:

Using 4 mm crochet hook make the loops for attaching the tassels.  Make a slip knot and attach to one corner or scarf, [make 5 chains and slip stich back onto work a fifth of the way across scarf] repeat a further 4 times.  Pass end of thread through remaining stitch and pull tight.  Repeat on other end of scarf.  Secure loose ends.

Make 5 x tassels for each end of the scarf.  For this scarf the tassels are approximately 8cm long (3 Inches) and were prepared by wrapping the yarn around the short edge of a DVD box 10 times before securing and attaching to the loops on the scarf.  Trim the ends of the tassels so that they are all the same length.
