We have had a random peacock turned up today! They are a very beautiful creature with amazing   iridescent colours but sound horrible.  I’m sure that it will inspire either Mum or Aunty Biscuit to do something at some point, even if it doesn’t stay here, meanwhile Harrier and I are keeping an eye on it from the other side of the fence.  We are also are expecting the power to be switched off at some point next week whilst they replace a pole on neighbouring land which has suffered woodpecker damage.  The exact species of woodpecker has not been divulged, nor the extent of the damage.
