A long break

Apr 04 2021

It seems ages since I have reported back on the goings on, I blame it on the humans not leaving a computer where I could get my paws on it.  (I.T. difficulties are always a good excuse!) Much of the activities have centred around outdoors despite the variable weather.  Three raised beds have now been constructed and a fourth one is scheduled for construction this week.  Bed three however still needs to be filled. Fortunately, the horses have always been very good at producing copious amounts of manure so there is a plentiful supply of it which has been well rotted over the past few years.  The hens had been confined to barracks due to bird flu restrictions but they are now allowed out and causing chaos.  The daffodils are currently providing a glorious display of colour with little splashes of hyacinths here and there.  Mum has painted and put up nine birdboxes and attached some wheels to a pallet.  This will mean that the potted outdoor plants will be easy to move about for watering purposes.  Aunty Biscuit has crocheted two dog blankets ready for when the charities re-open and is currently knitting something smallish and unspecified in blue dk, so it is clearly not for herself.  Mum is still progressing her picture thing from crystals although she did swear slightly as she dropped a tray of mid blue ones the other day.

mmmm
