To make Up:
Join top of tea cosy together.  If available fit around tea pot and mark the points at which the spout and the handle will need to fit through the tea cosy.  Remove from tea pot and join the sides together, leaving gaps where marked for the spout and handle.   Secure ends and sew in.

Thread the cords through the holes at the top and gather at opposite sides of the pumpkin to make tendrils.
Fit the cosy to the pot and mark the desired position for features.
Using black yarn to embroider features onto the tea cosy, by attaching felt features onto the tea cosy create a scary face onto the tea cosy
