Harrier's Squared Dog Blanket

This free knitting pattern for a squared dog blanket is perfect for keeping your four footed friends warm on those cold winter evenings.  The free knitting pattern is very versatile and lends itself to be knitted as easily from scraps of wool to use up wool from other projects or using new wool for a more uniform pattern. This free knitting pattern wor a squared knitted dog blanket is perfect for gifting to animal charities as it could be used to help keep any animal warm and comfortable in its bed.  If this blanket is being made for charity, I would recommend using acrylic yarns which can be easily washed.

This free knitting pattern produces a blanket which can be used by two small dogs or one medium sized dog.  The pattern can be expanded if needed (by adding extra rows of squares) for larger animals but extra wool would be required.
