The first prototype mermaid tail is in progress and is looking promising.  The waist down option has been selected as apparently it is easier to work on the potential shaping this way.  I have sneaked a quick peak at the paper that the notes are scribbled on.  There are 7 crossings out, one overwrite and 5 calculations. I now know that 46 minus 33 is 13 but have absolutely no idea of the significance of this.  Mum likes the yarn that is being used so hopefully any left may end up either in a blankie or a jumper for either Harrier or myself, paws crossed.
