Work on the jumper has stalled as mum is missing a circular needle.  This sounded very singular to me but it seems that it has a point on each end with some tubing in the middle.  A variant on this is a set of four double ended straight needles but she hasn’t any of them to lose either.  She has asked Aunty Biscuit if she has one, so it will be interesting to see whose turns up first!
