It appears that my disapproval of Harrier having the thick blanket instead of me has been noted and is being actioned.  Aunty Biscuit turned up with a bag of oddments and work has commenced.  The bag has a bit of chunky yarn (one nearly full ball in an extremely dodgy colour, one small part ball leftover from a jumper a while ago and subsequently used in at least two squared jumpers), and several balls of double knitting, some of which have the same reason for their presence.
