With much whinging as she has knitted it in rib, Aunty Biscuit has been knitting me a jumper as the last one went to Harrier. It just needs the neck picking up and the stitching together.  Generally she persuades Mum or Granny Biscuit to do the picking up but if they don’t take the hint we then have the rigmarole of finding a convenient crochet hook or Tunisian crochet hook.  Either way I am confident that it will be finished soon.  Elsewhere an experimental batch of nettle beer has been brewed and bottled off.  Early indications are that it isn’t as bad as it sounds and that the boiled over nettle water cleaned the cooker magnificently.  Aunty Biscuit sometimes uses nettles for dyeing wool.  As we have no shortage of nettles I think there will be more experiments to come!
