Discussions are underway regarding decorations for an upcoming Halloween party.  The homegrown  pumpkin being carved into a lantern is a non starter as the variety grown produced a small green skinned pumpkin which may yet end up being roasted and on the menu.  Harrier and I are putting our money on mum producing some orange pompoms as pumpkins and black ones with pipecleaner legs as spiders, with Aunty Biscuit producing a string of cardboard cutouts either from a die cutter or hand drawn and snipped (or both).  We are also not ruling out wiggly eyed satsumas wearing little witch hats appearing.
