The front of the super chunky jumper has now been cast off and the first sleeve has been cast on, all 21 stitches.  That sounds a very small number to me.  Somewhere in the process a 10mm needle has gone missing.  This is not unusual this establishment and we confidently expect that it will be found at some point over the next decade or so.  Fortunately, there were two pairs being used so the loss hasn’t delayed progress.  I did wonder why this was the case but it seems that if things are being made in stripes doing the back and front at the same time gives a better idea of how much yarn is being used.
